How FLEX Delivery Works:

• First-Come, First-Served Basis – Delivery slots are scheduled in order of request.

• Best for Small, Flexible Orders – If your order is 7 cubic yards or less and you’re flexible on delivery day/time, FLEX Delivery is the most cost-effective option for the Portland Metro area (not available for Washington State).

• Shared Delivery Load – Your soil order will be carefully separated and transported alongside another customer's order in your area to optimize efficiency and cost savings.

• Cost Savings – Standard delivery rates in the Portland Metro area range from $230 - $350, making FLEX Delivery the most economical choice.

Payment & Scheduling:

• Full Prepayment Required – All FLEX deliveries must be fully paid in advance before being placed on our schedule.

• Delivery Notification – Once your payment is received, you will be added to our scheduling board. Expect a delivery notice 12 to 48 hours before arrival via email, text, or phone call.

• No Specific Time Requests – You cannot request a specific date or time for FLEX delivery. We match deliveries based on location, which typically takes 2-5 business days.

Avoiding the 4% Processing Fee:

If you prefer to avoid the 4% credit/debit card processing fee, consider the following payment options:
Mail a Check or Money Order – Your order will be scheduled once payment is received and cleared.
In-Person Drop-Off – Visit Worm Farm Portland in Newberg, OR, to submit payment.

Delivery Requirements:

• No Need to Be Home – If you will not be present, please provide clear photos of a marked unloading spot in advance.

• Unloading Space Requirements:

• 12 feet wide clearance for the truck

• 15 feet overhead clearance (no power lines, branches, or obstructions)

• Driveway must be wide enough to accommodate the truck

  Surface Restrictions:

• No soft surfaces, uneven gravel, or delicate pavement

• The truck must remain on an improved surface

• If unloading off an improved surface is requested, the customer assumes all liability for towing costs, damages, and wait time

Important Notice: The Worm Farm Portland, Inc. is not responsible for any damages beyond the curb. Delivery trucks cannot drive off driveways under any circumstances.

STANDARD DELIVERY, TRUCK SIZEs & Rates

Selecting the right truck size ensures a smooth and cost-effective delivery. Below are our Standard Delivery options and pricing details.

STANDARD DELIVERY – 13 Cubic Yard Truck

• Our most popular option is $110.00 per hour trucking rate
  Prorated based on your exact delivery location (please provide your full drop-off address)
  Up to 3 different soil mixes per order (inquire with our office prior to ordering)

Delivery Cost Includes:

• Loading at our farm

• Transporting to your destination (address must be provided in advance)

• Unloading at the same location

• Returning to Worm Farm Portland in Newberg, OR

Super Sack Delivery Option:

We also offer soil delivery in super sacks for added convenience.

• Tote Charge Applies – Additional $75.00 cost per tote

• Customer Responsibility – You must have a forklift or heavy-duty equipment to unload

• Capacity – Each tote holds up to 2 yards of soil mix

• Weight – Fully loaded totes weigh approximately 1 ton, depending on a soil product

STANDARD TRUCKLOAD

We offer multiple truck sizes to accommodate your soil delivery needs. Please carefully review the site requirements before scheduling your delivery.

Small Truckload – 13 Cubic Yard Capacity $110.00/hr.

Our most common option for standard soil deliveries
Capacity: Up to 13 cubic yards per trip
Multiple Soil Mixes: We can deliver up to 3 different soil mixes in one order
Flexible Payment Options:

• COD Accepted – Cash or checks (with proper ID)

• Credit/Debit Cards – Subject to a 4% processing fee

Larger Truckload 15-20 ton trucks $150.00/hr

For larger projects requiring bulk soil delivery

Capacity: 20-24 cubic yards of a single soil mix
Rate: $150.00 per hour trucking rate
High Side-End Dump Trucks: Designed for heavy loads such as gravel and rock
Important: Before choosing this option, please confirm that your site can accommodate 18 feet of height clearance and adequate space for maneuvering.

Larger Truckload – Semi-Truck with Belt Trailer $180.00/hr

For large-scale deliveries using a self-unloading boxed trailer, walk in floors
Rate: $180.00 per hour trucking rate
Maneuvering Space Required: Minimum of 100 feet of safe turn area
