What is it ?

Organic Tidal or Acadian Kelp Mix encourages your plants to more effectively draw nutrients from the soil in general. This means that your plants are more efficient growing machine.

Our pure Tidal and Acadian ORGANIC KELP is processed within 24 hours of harvest to preserve from cold-water in Northern Atlantic Ocean, harvesting in Nova Scotia. It contains in excess of 60 minerals, and more than 12 vitamins and all-essential amino acids. The final product is available in a dry granular form. Our Tidal Kelp meal carry organic Livestock Certificate as well (animal feed grade).

MYCORRHIZA - we have also added fantastic organic MycoApply Mycorrhiza Ultrafine endo/ ecto (fungus that is symbiotic in most plants that promotes the uptake of phosphorus reserves in the soil and especially beneficial for plants in nutrient-poor soils).

PUMICE - drainage is important, so we have added little bit of rock to work with Mycorrhizal in heavy clay soil. Pumice is created when a volcano violently erupts and creates bubbles or froth in the molten. Therefore, pumice has a rough surface that is filled with air bubbles that form when the agitated molten lava cools rapidly. It acts as vermiculite in our soil mixes and retains water much longer during hot summer month. We use it in a medium grade size.

The mycorrhizae fungus attaches itself to roots and converts the compounds into usable phosphorus reserves in the soil, hyphae access water and nutrients beyond the root zone and deliver to plants vascular network. Introducing this ingredient can increase root surface area growth, increases absorption area and overall root biomass for all surrounding root systems, and results are amazing!

PURE ORGANIC USE INGREDIENT 20% Mix is our signature manure free all-around mix, and with additional feeding it will work great in vegetable garden, but you can freely dress up your wine rows, or any other fruit-bearing plants. It could be used as a starting medium for your nitrogen loving plants. This mix is heavily used in the wine and landscaping industries.
